Pressure is building on House Republicans to impeach Mayorkas for his dereliction of duty in failing to secure the border.

Mayorkas appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee for a hearing on border security.

He used the hearing to unload on Mayorkas for his botched handling of the border crisis.

“Let me ask you, we now have over 5.5 million people who have entered this country illegally under Joe Biden. How many murderers have you released into America?” Cruz asked Mayorkas.

“Senator, I’m not aware of any murderer we’ve released into the–” Mayorkas replied before Cruz interrupted him.

“So, you don’t know?” Cruz said.

Illegals have been released into the country from Mayorkas’ open border policies that have gone on to commit murders in multiple states around the nation.

In one high-profile case in Maryland, an autistic woman was murdered by a member of the ultraviolent MS-13 gang who was processed and released because he was a minor by the federal government after he illegally crossed the border.

Homeland Security has refused to release information on whether a background check was performed on the illegal.

Mayorkas dodged repeated yes or no questions from Cruz about whether the country was facing a border crisis.

Cruz became heated and pointed out one of the biggest tragedies occurring during the Biden border crisis.

He showed Mayorkas a set of color-coded bracelets used by human traffickers at the border and asked the secretary if he knew what they were.

Human traffickers used color-coded bracelets to keep track of illegals and what they owe for being smuggled across the border.

The bracelets are often used by sex trafficking rings that force women and children to pay off their smuggling debts with unspeakable acts.

Mayorkas claimed that he had no idea what the bracelets were and Cruz called him “incompetent.”

“Mr. Secretary, I want to say to you right now, your behavior is disgraceful,” Cruz said. “And the deaths, the children assaulted, the children raped, they are at your feet. And if you had integrity, you would resign.”

Cruz said the Border Patrol agents Mayorkas commands “despise” him because they’re being undermined by a leader who’s more interested in following political orders than doing his job.

Alejandro Mayorkas only added fuel to the growing fire for House Republicans to impeach him with his shameful performance in the committee hearing.
